Dental Assistant Job – Brookside-Sellwood | Portland, OR Dental Assistant – Full-Time

Location: Brookside-Sellwood, Portland, OR
Schedule: Monday–Wednesday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Thursday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $20–$30 per hour DOE + Quarterly Team Bonus

We are seeking a friendly, dependable Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team in the Brookside-Sellwood area of Portland, Oregon. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated dental professional who enjoys creating a positive patient experience and helping maintain a smooth, efficient clinical workflow.

New graduates from an accredited dental assisting program are encouraged to apply. While prior experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates professionalism, strong communication skills, and a passion for patient care.

• Assist the dentist chairside during dental procedures

• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories

• Take and update digital chart notes using Open Dental software

• Support patient communication and education

• Maintain accurate clinical records

• Help ensure efficient patient flow throughout the day

• Follow infection control and OSHA protocols

• Dental assisting experience preferred

• New dental assisting graduates welcome

• Familiarity with Open Dental software is a plus

• Strong organizational and communication skills
