Competitive compensation of $44–$55/hour 40 hours per week Flexibility to accommodate the right candidate Critical-need position with an opportunity to make an immediate impact Patient-centered clinical environment Collaborative interdisciplinary team Opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and families Professional growth and development opportunities New graduates are welcome Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans based on each resident's needs and goals Provide skilled speech-language therapy using evidence-based clinical practices Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate Evaluate and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with nursing, therapy, dietary, and other healthcare professionals Participate in interdisciplinary care planning Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment strategies and recommendations Communicate effectively with the care team regarding patient progress and changes in condition Promote patient safety, independence, communication, and quality of life Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure ASHA certification or eligibility preferred Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills Patient-focused and compassionate approach to care Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team Willingness to discuss flexible scheduling arrangements New graduates are encouraged to apply Schedule Flexibility This position is structured around 40 hours per week , with the schedule primarily focused on weekdays.
