Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Duties

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist to support Global Quality Excellence, Regulations & Standards for a major medical device company. This position will support multiple operating units and focus on supplier controls, supplier qualification, PPAP, and quality documentation.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is self-motivated, adaptable, and able to effectively manage supplier and cross-functional activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier outreach and manage supplier communications and follow-up.

• Execute Supplier Controls processes, including record creation, documentation, tracking, and completion.

• Support supplier qualification activities, including PPAP and sub-tier supplier qualification.

• Ensure supplier documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company quality standards and procedures.

• Participate on cross-functional project teams and collaborate with internal stakeholders.

• Gather, verify, and communicate supplier quality information.

• Identify and resolve routine supplier documentation and process issues.

• Manage assigned activities and drive tasks through completion with general supervision.

Minimum Education Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or a related field.

Minimum Experience Required

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.

• Experience in supplier quality, supplier controls, manufacturing quality, or a related quality function preferred.

• Knowledge of PPAP and supplier qualification processes is highly desirable.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams.
