Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher/Formsetter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that concrete surfaces are finished to the highest standards, contributing to the overall quality and durability of our construction projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other construction professionals.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to determine layout and finishing requirements.
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for concrete placement and finishing tasks.
- Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by ensuring proper grading and compaction.
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired texture and appearance.
- Renovate and restore existing concrete structures to improve functionality and aesthetics.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher/Formsetter within the construction industry.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading and construction estimating. ( Not necessary - Added benefit.)
- Proficiency in heavy equipment operation relevant to concrete work.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
