Cake Decorator

DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Cake Decorator to design and decorate Dairy Queen® ice cream cakes for all occasions. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality cakes that meet brand standards while delivering customized designs that create memorable moments for our guests. This position requires precision, patience, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining strict food safety and cleanliness standards. You'll create and decorate ice cream cakes that look as good as they taste - ensuring every cake leaving the store meets quality, design, and brand standards.

Responsibilities:

• Decorate ice cream cakes following Dairy Queen® standards
• Write personalized messages neatly and accurately
• Prepare cake layers, centers, and toppings
• Maintain inventory of cake supplies and communicate needs
• Keep cake area clean, organized, and food-safe
• Manage custom cake orders and deadlines
• Assist with treat production or front counter when needed
• Ensure cakes are properly stored and displayed

• Strong attention to detail
• Neat handwriting and steady hands
• Creative mindset
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
• Comfortable standing for full shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Works well independently
• Weekend availability preferred
• Previous decorating experience preferred but not required (we will train the right person)
