Become a part of our caring community As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for performing nursing assisting duties in a healthcare setting, under the direction of a licensed clinician. The certified nursing assistant provides clinical support services including but not limited to direct clinician support, patient care functions, and administrative tasks. Location: CenterWell Senior Primary Care office address: 2955 Brownwood Boulevard, The Villages, Florida 32163 Certified Nursing Assistant Role Overview:

• Performs patient intake, obtains necessary patient information to file and update patient records.
• Ensure consents are reviewed and completed by clinician.
• Perform pre-encounter prep prior to patients visit.
• Supports and demonstrates effective and professional communication with patients, family members, visitors, and colleagues.
• Gathers patient data through interview and observation.
• Assists the clinician during medical treatments, examinations, and non-sterile procedures.
• Prepares patients for examination, performs and documents vital signs, and records patients' health history and medication reconciliation.
• Communicate with other team members in clinical and clerical areas to provide successful patient centered practice.
• Performs EKG.
• Prepares and sanitizes equipment, examination rooms and instruments.
• Manages inventory of medical supplies and equips exam rooms with appropriate supplies.
• Maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates competency in specific tasks and skills as defined by the practice.
• Other duties as assigned.

Use your skills to make an impact Additional Information Required

• High School graduate or equivalent
• CNA: Have a Certified Nursing Assistant certification from an accredited institution.
• CPR/BLS Healthcare Provider Certification within 90 days of employment.

Preferred

• Experience working within a healthcare setting

Certified Nursing Assistant working hours: Monday to Friday Scheduled 40 hours per week
