What a typical day looks like:Develop Power BI dashboards for OEE, downtime, scrap, and cycle timeWrite SQL queries to extract production dataUse Python for data analysis and automation scriptsCreate and maintain SPC charts (X-bar, R, Cpk analysis)Support coiler data collection integrationAssist with predictive maintenance analytics initiativesAttend team meetings to support project work as neededStudent qualities we’re seeking for this Co-Op assignment:Junior/Senior student pursuing Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering majorProficiency in Python for data analysis and automationStrong SQL skills for data extractionExperience with Microsoft Power BI for dashboardsBasic knowledge of statisticsUnderstanding of manufacturing KPIs (OEE, downtime, scrap, cycle time)Exposure to data collection and predictive maintenance conceptsPrevious manufacturing internship experience a plus!Co-Op Program Requirements:Ability to work 40 hours/week (in person) during the Spring 2027 co-op assignmentCurrently enrolled in 4-year accredited university3.0 GPA Application Deadline:Applications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
