Assistant Clinical Director

Bayside Marin Treatment Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Clinical Director to lead and support our clinical team in delivering high-quality mental health care. This role is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a collaborative, patient-centered treatment environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and a passion for supporting individuals on their mental health and recovery journeys. This position plays a key role in guiding clinical staff, maintaining program excellence, and driving positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work or a related field required
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience working in mental health
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
• Experience implementing ASAM

Schedule:

• Sunday through Thursday
• Flexible working hours

Compensation:

• Salary range: $104,000 - $124,800 annually, based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

· Provide oversight and support to all clinical operations in areas assigned.

· Provide oversight and monitor clinical services as it relates to service provision, treatment and access.

· Review and analyze clinical and operational performance results. Develop plans for improvement as needed.

· Provide staff management including hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.

· Develop and implement behavioral health processes, procedures and policies across programs.

· Participate in daily, weekly, monthly and annual planning and reporting processes as appropriate.

· Represent the company at meetings in the community.

· Collaborate with other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative work environment.

· Support compliance by adherence to accreditation standards as well as standards of funding agencies and licensing boards.

· Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
