Clinic Director (Physical Therapist) | Outpatient Clinic | Full-time

Our organization is on the lookout for a Clinic Director / Physical Therapist to oversee our outpatient facility located in Charlottesville, VA .

This position presents a distinctive leadership opportunity for a seasoned Physical Therapist who appreciates independence, clinical excellence, and a manageable workload. It is particularly suited for a self-motivated clinician who enjoys working with a general orthopedic patient base while providing light leadership in a well-established and efficiently operated clinic.

You will be part of a small, collaborative team with a steady stream of referrals, including a pain management group situated in the same building, enabling you to engage with a diverse and dynamic patient population.

Clinical Care

• Assess and treat patients with orthopedic, post-operative, and pain management issues
• Create and execute personalized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation using Raintree EMR
• Handle an independent caseload with an emphasis on quality outcomes

Clinic Leadership

• Oversee daily clinic operations in a low-administration environment
• Guide and mentor team members while fostering a positive clinic culture
• Maintain high standards of patient care, satisfaction, and clinical performance
• Collaborate with leadership on clinic objectives and performance metrics

Operations & Growth

• Independently manage scheduling efficiency and patient flow
• Establish relationships with local providers and referral sources
• Promote ongoing clinic growth through community involvement

• Leadership role without a heavy administrative load

• Established referral network , including an on-site pain management practice

• Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active state Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure
• Preferred minimum of 2+ years of outpatient experience
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
• Capability to manage both clinical and administrative tasks
