UW Medical Center - Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for a Full-TIME, REGISTERED NURSE in the OPERATING ROOM DEPARTMENT. WORK SCHEDULE Full time / 40 Hours per week Rotating/variable shift

Position Highlights

Circulate and Scrub a variety of surgical cases

As a registered nurse (RN), you can be a part of this highly skilled team, working within a culture that is collaborative. Here, you will work in tandem with physicians and other health care practitioners to provide superior, nursing care.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care for surgical patients, a role that includes preparing the surgical site and equipment.

Assist surgeons during operations by providing instruments and managing patient needs, and monitoring patient recovery.

Act as a patient advocate, maintain a sterile environment, coordinate with the healthcare team, and provide patient education for recovery.

BLS and minimum of 2 years current general OR nursing experience with circulating in a variety of clinical settings required. Scrub experience is desired but not required.

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum: $46.97 hourly

Pay Range Maximum: $86.17 hourly

Other Compensation: $1.25/hr Nursing Certification; $5.00/hr Night Shift; $4.00/hr Weekend Differential; $3.00/hr Evening Differential; $1.00/hr BSN Premium
