About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel to join its dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be a proactive, customer-service-oriented legal professional with a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and a minimum of 3 years of directly related legal experience. Key responsibilities for this role include providing legal advice and guidance on a wide range of matters, managing legal projects, and ensuring compliance with legal standards. The Associate General Counsel will also be involved in training and educating the campus community on legal and compliance issues. Applicants for the Associate General Counsel position at the company should be self-starters with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of handling multiple projects and dedicated to developing practical solutions that meet client needs. The role requires a high level of ethical standards, a strong commitment to the company's mission, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. While not mandatory, experience in areas such as contract drafting, litigation, employment law, intellectual property law, and student affairs is preferred. The ideal candidate will be sensitive to the academic environment and possess the ability to work collaboratively, with flexibility and patience.
