Warehouse OperativeAt our Banks Crossing facility, we are part of the Meat division where we create hundreds of different products for Kerry and our retail customers. The Warehouse Operative plays an important role in ensuring Kerry's warehouse operates with optimum precision and efficiency, helping to fulfill orders and prepare them for shipment.Key ResponsibilitiesJob duties and responsibilities include:Assists with all shipping, receiving, and inventory organization operationsHelps to efficiently carry out all product loading and unloading tasksScans and tracks incoming and outgoing ordersReceives and processes new inventory, ensuring contents match manifest documentsInspects receivables for defects, damages, or missing itemsUnloads, stacks, moves, and places products in designated areasMoves and transfers products between various sections of the warehouse as neededUses forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, etc. to transfer and deliver goodsPerforms specific manual inventory countsStacks, shelves, and stages items for storage and shipments as necessaryFulfills and tracks outgoing ordersCollects, prepares, packages, and labels goods for shipmentStaging materials needed for production in to Manufacturing ordersCreating transfer packets needed for the transfer of material to Manufacturing Orders.Qualifications and SkillsQualifications include:High school diploma or GED equivalentPrevious warehouse experience preferredForklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift trainingAble to work long hours on one's feet and perform physically demanding tasksFlexible with shift work and possible night hoursFamiliar with common warehouse tools and equipmentDependable and responsibleStrong work ethicComfortable working independentlyMakes safety a priorityEOEKerry is an equal opportunity employer.
