Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDietary Aide (Part-Time)New City Supportive Living Chicago, IL 60609Schedule: Part-time, Monday–Friday 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM Some weekend availability requiredAbout the Role New City Supportive Living is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team. In this role, you will support our dietary department by assisting with meal preparation and service while helping create a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for our residents.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team setting and takes pride in contributing to the health and overall experience of seniors through quality meal service.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in food service or healthcare settingAbility to read and follow recipes and dietary guidelinesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsExperience working with seniors or individuals with special dietary needsKey ResponsibilitiesAssist with meal preparation and service in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident needsMaintain a clean and organized kitchen, including dishwashing and sanitizing surfacesFollow proper food safety, storage, and handling proceduresAssist with inventory and stocking of food and suppliesProvide friendly and respectful service to residents during mealtimesCommunicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to support a positive dining experienceSkills and Strengths As a Dietary Aide, you will use your organization, attention to detail, and teamwork skills to help ensure meals are prepared and served efficiently. Your ability to follow dietary guidelines and maintain a clean environment will support resident safety and satisfaction.
