Early Childhood Faculty (Head and Assistant Teacher Roles)

Toddler – Nursery – PreK – Kindergarten

Location: Great Neck, NY

Position Type: Full Time

We are seeking a caring, experienced and dynamic teacher to join our Early Childhood Studies team. An ideal candidate will have experience teaching in an early childhood classroom and fostering a love of learning about the world around them. Teachers are responsible for planning and executing a variety of different kinds of lessons, helping students to develop social and emotional competencies, communicating with parents, and collaborating with their colleagues. 

An ideal candidate will possess a love of teaching children, excitement for trying new curricula and methodologies, and excellent oral and written communication skills.

 

Ideal Candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• BA required

• MA in early childhood preferred (Head teachers)

• A minimum of three years teaching in an early childhood setting (Head teachers)

• A teaching philosophy that focuses on growth in academic, social and emotional domains

• A collaborative, teamwork-oriented approach 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Salary Range: $30,000-60,000
