Job Summary:
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) procedures, located in Albany, New York. The role involves providing assessment, monitoring, and intervention for various cardiac procedures. The nurse will participate in a team responsible for emergency and non-emergency cardiac care, including patients undergoing procedures such as cardiac catheterization, coronary stent placement, balloon valvuloplasty, and structural heart interventions. The position requires collaboration with medical staff and patient education.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift from 07:00 to 17:30, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid New York Registered Nurse (RN) license; 2 years of cath lab, procedural, or sedation experience; clinical skills in monitoring, medication administration, patient education, and documentation.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing patients under sedation and working as part of an emergency on-call team for STEMI cases.
• Additional Information: The responsibilities include administering oral and intravenous medications, managing patients under sedation, educating patients and families, and handling paperwork related to patient care and procedures. The role is also involved in emergency response activities, and schedule may include call requirements for nights or weekends as needed.
