Property Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Salem, OR PAY: $24–$26 per hour Schedule: Monday–Thursday & Saturday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Duration: Approximately 2 months, beginning mid-September Employment Type: TemporaryPosition OverviewExpress Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a temporary assignment at a large apartment community in Salem. This position will work in both occupied and unoccupied units and is ideal for someone with general apartment, property, facilities, or building maintenance experience.Job DutiesComplete maintenance work orders submitted by tenantsPerform general maintenance and repairs in occupied unitsPrepare vacant apartments to be rent-readyPerform basic plumbing repairsPerform basic electrical repairsComplete general repairs and maintenance throughout the propertyTroubleshoot routine maintenance issuesMaintain a safe and clean work environmentCommunicate professionally with tenants and property staffQualificationsPrevious maintenance experience requiredApartment, property, facilities, or general building maintenance experience preferredWorking knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical repairsAbility to work in both occupied and vacant unitsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsProfessional communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple work orders
