The Aesthetic Medical Assistant - Support will act as liaison between front office and provider for ensuring timely and orderly client flow. This role will be responsible for back-office functions including client preparation, support of health care providers and clinic operations in a manager that promotes quality client care. The MA will report to the clinic manager, who will help determine provider support assignments to maximize clinic productivity. This role also includes assisting with rebooking and product sales to further enhance operational efficiency.What You Will DoProvide exceptional service to our clients and teamSupport our Aesthetic specialists with patient intake and treatment prep and pre and post carePrepare equipment and examination rooms, and clean instrumentsManage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate suppliesAttend monthly trainings and meetingsKnowledge of medical grade skincare products and servicesAssist with other duties as assignedTravel may be required to our other locations for trainingEnsure all charting and consents are completedAssist with social media content as directed by either clinic manager or providerProduct salesRebook appointments in the roomWhat You Will BringSkills, Knowledge & ExpertiseHigh School Diploma or GEDPrevious work experience as Medical Assistant1+ years of customer or sales experience required; experience in an aesthetic setting preferredAbility to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, peers and manager in a friendly and courteous mannerAbility to multi-task while being attentive to clients and remaining flexible to the needs of the businessAbility to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervisionProficient with email and WordAvailability to work evenings and weekendsPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of:Standing, bending or stoopingUse of hands and arms to touch, handle, feel or control things including but not limited to tools, objects and/or controlsReaching with hands and armsRepeating of same movementsTalking and hearingOccasional periods of:Sitting, crawling, kneeling, climbing or balancingPushing/Pulling heavy objects and/or machineryBenefitsWe offer a competitive benefits package which includes generous employee discounts, Friends & Family discounts and a beautiful working environment with a stellar team.
