Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Dallas, Texas
• Job Title: Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570–$1,650
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, ending February 14, 2027
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Scheduling: Weekends and holidays as needed
• Patient Population: Patients of all ages and diagnoses
• Department Profile: 38-bed Emergency Department with approximately 200 patients per day and a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Healthcare Setting: Level I trauma and teaching environment

Emergency Department RN Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department Registered Nurse experience
• Active Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Texas
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• CPI certification within 30 days of the start date
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Experience caring for patients across the lifespan in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency care setting

Travel Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to Emergency Department patients of all ages.
• Perform rapid assessments, emergency department triage, ongoing reassessments, and care prioritization based on patient acuity.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergency situations.
• Administer medications and treatments, initiate appropriate interventions, and evaluate patient responses.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, emergency personnel, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support trauma care, resuscitation, and other high-acuity emergency care processes in a Level I trauma environment.
• Promote patient and family education, safety, dignity, and continuity of care throughout the emergency visit.
