Bus Driver
Job Goal: To transport students in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
Reports To: Transportation Supervisor
Performance Responsibilities:
- Transport students to and from school and on assigned trips safely and efficiently.
- Comply with all state and local laws related to bus transportation.
- Observe all safety regulations for school buses.
- Maintain discipline of students and report discipline problems to Transportation Supervisor.
- Follow all procedures for loading and unloading students.
- Operate bus in a safe manner at all times.
- Model and maintain high ethical standards.
- Keep supervisor informed of potential problems or unusual events.
- Respond to inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
- Prepare all required reports and maintain all appropriate records.
- Perform all required tasks in a professional manner.
- Perform all tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of this position.
