Get to Know Your Team Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU. Responsibilities The RN Staff Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes. The position directs and oversees care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination. The position effectively coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians, and support services. The RN Staff Nurse reports to the Nurse Manager. Qualifications Graduate of an NLN/AACN-accredited program in nursing. Current valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license. BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). At least 2 years of experience. The rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components, such as differentials and call pay, depending on the role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
