Quick Facts

• Location: Hollywood, FL
• Start Date: 07/01/2024 (or upon agreement)
• Duration: 13-week assignments with extensions available
• Shift: 24-hour shifts at Level III units; 10- or 12-hour day shifts and 12- or 16-hour night shifts at Level IV
• Hours/Week: 36-40 hours
• Employment Type: Contract (per diem possible)
• Licenses/Certifications: Board Certified NNP (must be current)
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of NNP experience; not accepting new graduates or locums

What You'll Do

• Provide specialized neonatal care to critically ill infants in high-acuity NICU settings
• Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
• Manage patient assessments, interventions, and continuous monitoring
• Support families and provide education regarding neonatal conditions and treatments
• Maintain accurate documentation consistent with hospital protocols and standards
• Participate in unit rotations across multiple hospital sites within the healthcare system
• Adhere to all policies ensuring the highest level of patient safety and quality care

What You Need

• Current Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) license
• Minimum of 2 years' NNP experience in a Level III or IV NICU
• Excellent clinical assessment skills and ability to work in a high-acuity environment
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• Experience in multiple hospital settings within a healthcare system
• Ability to adapt quickly to varying shifts and workload demands
