WAREHOUSE CONVEYOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Covington GA 30014 - 100% on-site
• Payrate: $26/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

WAREHOUSE CONVEYOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:


The Warehouse Conveyor Maintenance Technician will support facility and conveyor system operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs, and maintaining automated conveyor systems and facility equipment.


Candidates should have strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills along with hands-on experience working with conveyor systems.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance

• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

WAREHOUSE CONVEYOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on conveyor systems and facility equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and control system issues
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve maintenance concerns
• Install and set up new machinery and equipment
• Maintain maintenance records and repair documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Assist with inventory and upkeep of repair tools and supplies
• Support general facility maintenance and housekeeping duties

WAREHOUSE CONVEYOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN | REQUIREMENTS :

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a warehouse or industrial environment required
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining conveyor systems required
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and control system knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot multiple voltage systems
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with work order systems such as SAP is a plus
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and other shifts as needed

Preferred Knowledge & Skills

• Preventive maintenance on automated conveyor systems
• Electrical troubleshooting experience with:
• 12V / 24V AC/DC power
• 120V / 208V power
• 277V / 480V power
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
