Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving both elementary and middle school students in a vibrant educational setting! This full-time role spans 32.5 hours per week, with a consistent 7:30am-3:00pm schedule, making it ideal for professionals who appreciate structure and the chance to finish their workday with time to spare. You'll support students across two walkable school sites, bringing your expertise in occupational therapy to a diverse and energetic caseload.
This assignment runs from ASAP start through June 25th, covering the remainder of the school year. The position offers the perfect blend of engaging clinical work and dedicated planning time, with an average of 9 sessions per day.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based settings
- Familiarity with both elementary and middle school-aged populations
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and adjust interventions to individual needs
- Effective collaboration and communication skills within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility and reliability for full-time contract work through the end of the school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and support students to enhance their participation in school activities
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided
- Travel between two nearby school sites (within walking distance)
- Engage in professional communication and planning with colleagues
