Details CV Thoracic Transplant ICU in an acute care hospital setting Cares for both cardiac medical ICU patients and Cardiac/Thoracic/Vascular Surgery ICU patients 2:1 patient ratio Patients may be supported by devices including Impella, IABP, LVAD, and NxStage Night shift: 19:00–07:30 13-week contract Requirements Active Indiana RN license or compact RN license required Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (both must be AHA-issued) NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years) Minimum 1 year of CVICU experience required Experience with Impella, IABP, and LVAD required NxStage experience preferred Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address Two professional references required Copy of Driver's License required Full SSN and full date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Provides ICU-level nursing care to both cardiac medical and cardiothoracic/vascular surgery patients Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility COVID vaccination is not required American Traveler Job ID P-714411.
