Assistant Manager

IHOP is hiring an Assistant Manager in Lytle, TX Are you an experienced restaurant manager looking for a new challenge? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for delivering exceptional food and service? If so, we want to hear from you! As an Assistant Manager at IHOP, you will play a vital role in ensuring our team consistently delivers great food and service to our guests. You will be responsible for managing key performance indicators, training and supervising staff, maintaining food safety procedures, and working closely with management to meet revenue objectives. Your exceptional organizational and leadership skills will be put to use as you implement strategies to improve sales and maintain a safe working environment. Responsibilities:

- Manage key performance business indicators: Labor and Food Cost, Outstanding Guest Service
- Train and supervise staff to execute IHOP SOP
- Ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to according to sanitary regulations
- Work closely with management to meet revenue objectives
- Implement appropriate strategies to resolve adverse trends and improve sales
- Maintain safe working conditions
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding the handling of cash, property, products, and equipment
- Audit inventory levels to ensure product availability and order products as necessary
- Communicate effectively with employees to provide a harassment-free, fair, and fun work environment
- Complete daily and weekly business reports
- 3+ years' experience in a restaurant management position
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to learn and work multiple positions
- Complete IHOP Academy Management and Team Member Training
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional organization and leadership skills
- Dependable and reliable
- Managing and executing a web-based team member training program experience a plus
- Web-based food cost, labor, and financial reporting system experience a plus
- Web-based Applicant Tracking System experience a plus
- Serv Safe Certification (current) a plus
