Job Description: GliaCell is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full‑time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission‑related software and systems to a large government contract. This role focuses on knowledge management and data curation, with responsibilities that include performing ETL (extract, transform, and load) processes on enterprise‑wide data. The position is part of a collaborative, well‑established team and offers the chance to build expertise in GhostMachine Portable Map Reduce analytics—a valuable opportunity for professional development. Key Requirements: Possess an active or rein‑statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. (This position requires in‑scope poly, within 7 years). U.S. Citizenship. 14+ years Software Engineering experience and a BS degree in Computer Science or related. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Works well independently as well as on a team. Strong communication skills. Key Skills: Java/Spring Framework/Spring Boot are the key skills needed to be successful in this role. GhostMachine Analytic experience Portable Map Reduction (PMR) framework Familiarity with AVP process and represent to AVG NiFi and Notifier experience Atlassian tool suite GitLab Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland Salary Range: The salary range for this full‑time position is $170,000 to $260,000.
