SummaryThe MIL Corporation is seeking a Senior Engineering Analyst (Engineering, Senior Analyst) to provide on-site support to the Department of the Navy, in the analysis, and troubleshooting of various communication systems. The work will be conducted at Webster Outlying Field (WOLF), St. Inigoes, MD and on various job sites.This position currently requires a hybrid schedule with 4 days on-site. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements. ResponsibilitiesPerform analysis and in-depth troubleshooting actions to support a specified mission, communication systems, or other designated programsDevelop and perform test & evaluation procedures for electronic and communication systemsPerform maintenance, quality assurance inspections, and operational checks on various electronics and communication systemsTravelAbility to travel approximately 35% to CONUS and OCONUS locations. Required Qualifications5+ years’ of progressive experience with DoD, military, or other government agency's electronics and communication systemsAbility to accurately interpret wiring diagrams and schematicsExperience working with HF, VHF, UHF, SATCOM radios, and modemsMust be familiar with RF, power, and data test equipmentFamiliarity with system administration and network communication tasks, such as IP verification and ping testsExperience working at a customer site or Government facilityExperience in Navy aviation maintenanceMust be able to execute complex planning and taskingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust have strong organizational skills and be highly detail orientedAbility to collaborate in a team environment, as well as work independentlyDesired Qualifications10+ years’ of progressive experience with DoD, military or other government agency's electronics and communication systemsCompTIA Security+ CE (or equivalent) certifications2-M, IPC, or J-Standard certificationsExperience with OOMA or MATILDA maintenance databasesEducationBachelor’s degree a technical discipline from an accredited college. Six (6) years of additional work experience related to the position or an Associate’s Degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience related to the position may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL’s complete compensation package.
