Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. • 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years. • Travel experience is required. • Experience with Epic is preferred. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license (required after submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System. Preferred Skills/Experience: Highly prefer antepartum and mother baby experience for L&D travelers. Required Credentials: TNCC required for ED assignments. Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. The facility may make one-off exceptions if previously employed at the facility, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System. We try to block schedule but cannot guarantee it. Unit Details: Nurse:Patient ratios — ER: 1:4, ICU: 1:1-2, MedSurg: 1:5, Tele: 1:4, Peds: 1:3, NICU: 1:4. ICU, ER, Tele, MedSurg, and PICU are required to titrate drips; MedSurg titratable drips include insulin. ICU, ER, Tele, and PICU must read and interpret telemetry. Shift & Scheduling: Weekends as needed. Holiday requirements if needed. No call. Floating Requirements: May float to ER, ICU, MedSurg, Tele, L&D/postpartum, and NICU across Boise, Meridian, and Nampa. RNs float only within their specialty and will never float to a lower acuity. Can also float to any facility to be a 1:1 sitter in any area. Travelers are first to float and may midshift float at any time during the shift whenever needed.
