Newburyport Public Schools has openings for a part time, school year Infant/Toddler Teacher.This teacher will work as part of a team with already established teachers to: Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons for infants/toddlers based on developmental expertise. Position Type: Part-time Job Categories: Classroom Teacher > Early Childhood Job Requirements Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education is preferred Previous experience working with infants/Toddlers is required Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) EEC Infant/Toddler certification Ability to pass a background check At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred. Associate degree preferred.
