Position Overview

We are in search of an empathetic and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become an essential member of our imaging team dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly communicating each phase of the procedure with compassion
• Work in harmony with radiologists and referring doctors to deliver exceptional diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging appliances, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Thoroughly document examination details and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical records system
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in ultrasound practices and imaging methodologies

Education Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or a related discipline
• Preferably completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is an asset
