Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) in the specialty of Cardiac Cath Lab. This role involves providing specialized cardiac nursing care with a focus on stress testing and diagnostic cardiac procedures, including patient assessment, monitoring, medication administration, and emergency response throughout cardiac testing procedures. Job Details Position Description: The RN will perform pre-procedure patient assessments, monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms throughout stress testing procedures, administer medications as per protocols, assist with various non-invasive cardiac testing modalities such as Nuclear Medicine Stress Testing, Dobutamine Stress Testing, Cardiac MRI Stress Testing, and CCTA (Coronary CT Angiography). The role requires recognizing abnormal findings or adverse responses and initiating appropriate interventions. Collaboration with cardiologists, imaging staff, Nuclear Medicine, and other cardiovascular team members is essential. Providing patient education regarding testing procedures and post-procedure care is a key responsibility. Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, ACLS certification, minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac stress testing including Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Dobutamine, stress echo, with strong cardiac rhythm recognition and ECG interpretation skills. Experience with multiple stress testing modalities and administering medications used during cardiac testing is required. Schedule: Schedule options include four 10-hour shifts (6 AM to 4:30 PM, with rotating day off) or five 8-hour shifts (7 AM to 3:30 PM), both with minimum 40 hours per week. Rotating weekend coverage is required. Additional Information: The RN should be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced diagnostic environment, possess strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills, and be capable of recognizing and responding appropriately to patient condition changes.
