Here you will work alongside our Pediatric Multi-Specialty team. This position is a 100% onsite opportunity. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area.Our new UChicago Medicine Hinsdale location at 11 Salt Creek Lane builds upon the services offered at our previous outpatient center at 12 Salt Creek Lane. This state-of-the-art facility provides comprehensive multispecialty care for adults, including urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery, gynecology, gastroenterology, ENT, transplant, neurology, and other services. We also offer specialized care for children and adolescents, including on-site services in gynecology, gastroenterology, neurology, dermatology, and cardiology.A Registered Nurse, UCM Care Network, is responsible for providing professional nursing care for patients including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation by following established standards, protocols, and practices. Assists physicians and staff in coordinating patient care. Functions as primary liaison between patients, staff, and physicians. This position will be located in a community-based physician practice.Essential Job FunctionsObtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentialityObtains and documents health history, information on chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors and assesses disease conditionProvides patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulationsExecutes prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administers prescribed medications, and monitors and documents treatment progress and patient responseDelegates as allowed under the Nurse Practice Act.
