Support a hospital oncology infusion center with a 26-week travel assignment in Gold Beach, OR. This position centers on a newly established Oncology Infusion Center at a hospital pharmacy within a community health network. The role demands expertise in chemotherapy medication preparation and collaboration with clinical oncology teams.


Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders for oncology infusion patients
• Prepare chemotherapy medications and compound hazardous drugs safely and accurately
• Work closely with oncology nurses and providers to ensure optimal patient care
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and workflow

Qualifications:

• PharmD degree required
• Current pharmacist license (RPh) in Oregon or ability to obtain before assignment start
• Proven experience in oncology pharmacy within a hospital or infusion center setting
• Skilled in chemotherapy medication preparation and hazardous drug compounding

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Assignment start: June
• Contract duration: 26 weeks
