This role focuses exclusively on urgent care cases for canine and feline patients, providing treatment for non-life-threatening conditions that occur outside regular veterinary clinic hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical care for urgent but non-critical cases, including injuries, illnesses, and other time-sensitive conditions
• Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver efficient and compassionate care
• Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring understanding of treatment options and care plans
• Maintain accurate medical records using digital systems
• Support and contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinic culture

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an accredited program
• Active or eligible veterinary license in the state of North Carolina
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently in an urgent care setting
