Licensed Professional Counselor - ER Psych: PRN

This position adds value to patient care and significantly assists individuals with various issues. We currently offer an opportunity for a PRN LPC to support patients with mental health issues. What You Will Do Provides psychosocial assessment / intervention to assist patients/families (including clinically complex). Communicates/collaborates with the work team using a multidisciplinary approach. Provides linkage to community resources to facilitate optimal care. Provides age specific care to patients/families in all age groups. Develops and implements a comprehensive plan based on identified psychosocial needs and/or discharge needs. Maintains a current working knowledge of UH network services and promotes utilization of such services. Provides guidance and serves as consultant to staff and other disciplines regarding complex psychosocial and/or discharge planning issues/barriers. Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
