We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in structural fabrication , can confidently read fabrication blueprints, and is committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role requires to travel locally (within FL), and occasionally stay overnight. Per-Diem will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on structural steel and and aluminum.
- Read and interpret fabrication blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
- Fit, fabricate, and assemble structural components to specifications.
- Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards.
Skills Needed:
- Minimum 2 years of TIG welding experience in structural fabrication.
- Experience with thinning aluminum, less than 1/16" thick.
- Additional experience with Flux Core, Mig, or Stick, and ideal.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication blueprints.
- High attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Team-oriented
For this role, a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) of 3 years will be processed. Minimal or no vialations are preferred.
Monday to Friday (Overtime should be expected to run through the weekend in occasions)
$22 to $24 to start
6am to 3:30pm/ 8pm to finish
(Depending on the project assigned, it will require to work overnight shift.)
