Industrial Maintenance Technologist – Electro-Mechanical Systems

Location: Hartford, WI

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Compensation: $30.00 – $36.23/hour | Weekly pay

Kelly Services is partnering with a thriving manufacturing operation in Hartford, WI to hire an experienced electro-mechanical maintenance professional. A Day in the Life

Your shift starts at 6:00 AM in a clean, highly automated facility. You review overnight CMMS tickets, prioritize a predictive maintenance task on a CNC cell, and tackle a pneumatic leak that cropped up during second shift. Mid-morning, you’re interpreting schematics to trace a 480 VAC control issue; by afternoon, you’re installing a small process improvement on a press brake and closing out work orders with clear notes for the team. Throughout the day, safety and uptime are your North Star.

What You’ll Own

• Preventive and predictive maintenance across manufacturing equipment and facility systems
• Hands-on troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Rapid diagnosis of failures and corrective actions to reduce downtime
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Installing, modifying, and upgrading production equipment
• Executing and documenting work in a CMMS environment
• Facility upkeep: HVAC, compressed air, plumbing, and plant lighting
• Root cause analysis participation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Safe operation of forklifts, aerial lifts, and overhead cranes (as authorized)

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Demonstrated electrical and mechanical troubleshooting ability
• Experienced with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Capable of safely troubleshooting industrial electrical systems up to 480 VAC
• CMMS familiarity preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Background

• Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field
• PLC troubleshooting exposure
• Background maintaining CNC equipment, automated machinery, laser systems, or press brakes
• Facility maintenance experience within manufacturing
