Immigration Paralegal

Guirguis Law is a boutique Christian Law Firm who focus on the legal needs of our immigrant and minority communities. We would be expecting our candidates to have a passion and devotion to serving our clients and not being afraid of doing an excellent job. As a Christian Law Firm, we believe in the highest level of service and expect our new hire or team member to be as devoted to the best interests of our clients as the rest of the team is as well. This is particularly important since we serve a highly underrepresented area in our society, our immigrant and minority communities. Many individuals in our team know the importance of such especially considering that many of us are immigrants and minorities.

Job Details: We are seeking a full-time Immigration paralegal for an immediate opening. Employee responsibilities include:

Prepare USCIS forms and collect supporting documentation
Prepare removal defense filings
Assist with U.S. visa petitions
Analyze case documents
Perform legal research
Communicate with clients
Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Job Requirements:

Fluency in Spanish
Experience of at least 1 year
Basic legal document drafting and completing forms
Direct interaction in assisting clients with litigation and representation concerns
Trial exhibit notebook preparation

Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
