Location: Springfield, Illinois

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Full-time, 36-hour work week, day shift (Monday-Friday)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 - $38.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement personalized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility and independence
• Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve strength, balance, and endurance
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments in collaboration with the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and safety precautions
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure compliance and continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in Illinois
• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy interventions and modalities
• Patient care and documentation skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• CPR/BLS certified
