COMMUNITY MANAGER The Opportunity Barvin is seeking a Community Manager to lead one of our apartment communities. This role is responsible for delivering strong operational performance, leasing success, resident satisfaction, team development, and financial results while creating an exceptional experience for residents and prospects.
This role is about more than managing a property. It is about leading a high-performing community that delivers exceptional service, strong occupancy, and a positive living experience for residents. You'll lead a technology-enabled operation that combines high-touch customer service with modern leasing, automation, and AI-driven tools to create a seamless experience for both prospects and residents.
As the leader of the community, you will coach and develop your team, support leasing efforts, drive operational performance, and ensure the community consistently delivers Barvin's standards for service and execution.
The ideal candidate understands how daily operations influence occupancy, resident satisfaction, reputation, team culture, and financial performance. You will play a key role in building a strong team, improving results, and creating an exceptional community experience. Execute community business plans and operational priorities. Maintain community standards, curb appeal, and service excellence. Monitor local market conditions and competitive positioning. Leasing & Marketing Support leasing efforts through prospect engagement, tours, and closing. Drive local marketing, outreach, referral, and resident engagement initiatives. Build community visibility through partnerships and grassroots marketing efforts. Resident Experience Deliver an exceptional resident experience that supports retention and reputation. Address resident concerns proactively and professionally. Maintain a visible presence throughout the community and support resident events. Community Operations Ensure operational excellence across all areas of the community. Collaborate with ownership, asset management, maintenance, and marketing teams to achieve community goals. Support resident engagement initiatives, community events, and retention efforts. Maintain strong communication regarding community projects, maintenance activities, and operational priorities. Technology & Innovation Utilize leasing technology, automation, AI tools, and reporting platforms to improve performance and customer experience. Support the adoption of new processes and technologies across the onsite team.
