AI Solutions Engineer

Herndon, VirginiaHybridFull Time$120k - $125k About the Role We’re looking for an AI Solutions Engineer to join a growing AI team and help turn business challenges into practical AI solutions. This role combines technical consulting and hands-on development, working directly with business teams to identify opportunities for AI and quickly build prototypes to validate those ideas.You’ll work with modern AI technologies including LLMs, RAG, Python/JavaScript, APIs, and AWS. What You’ll Do Partner with business teams to understand workflows and identify opportunities for AI and automation. Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions. Build proofs of concept (POCs) and prototypes for new AI use cases. Develop solutions using LLMs, RAG, APIs, and cloud-based technologies. Test and evaluate data to determine whether proposed AI solutions are technically feasible. Create reusable code, templates, and development patterns for other engineering teams. Help drive adoption of Generative AI capabilities across the organization. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Hands-on experience with Python and/or JavaScript. Experience working with REST APIs. Familiarity with AWS, including technologies such as OpenSearch and S3. Understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG. Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions. Strong communication skills and comfort working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Someone who enjoys being hands-on, experimenting with new technologies, and quickly turning ideas into working solutions.
