The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is a Tribal health care organization, serving nearly 30,000 people living across rural, southwest Alaska in villages with populations from about 10 to more than 1,000. Bethel, the regional hub and location of the only hospital in the region, has a population of nearly 7,000. Position Qualifications : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Minimum Experience Two (2) years of Finance/Accounting/Budgeting/Grant Management/Audit experience where customer service was a standard. Must be self-motivating, exemplify leadership skills, develop relationships, able to work independently, detail oriented, and have basic bookkeeping experience. Excellent Excel experience. License, Certification, Registration Not Required Equipment/Tools Not Required Specialized Knowledge and Skills Language Skills : Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write detailed correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees. Mathematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measures, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardized exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule.
