Senior Financial Manager

Overview SENIOR FINANCIAL MANAGER (BGEM): Bowhead seeks an experienced Senior Financial Manager for an upcoming Navy proposal effort PAE Maritime GEM in Washington, D.C. Responsibilities Essential functions may include but are not limited to: Maintains documented records supporting financial forecasts used in the rate and budget area. May respond to rate and budget questions and provide explanations to ensure management understanding. Ensures compliance with internal procedures and DAR/FAR government regulations. May interface with government auditors and provide audit support to ensure government understanding of financial data, methodology and applicability under appropriate government regulations. Perform analytics and evaluative work requiring a basic knowledge of financial and management organization, operations, and practices. Must have knowledge of pertinent statutory or regulatory provisions related to basic economic, accounting and legal principles. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications BA/BS degree required Fifteen (15) years professional experience in Financial management in DOD acquisition Five (5) years of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Program Budget Information Sytem (PBIS) This position will support the government Business Financial Managers (BFMs) in PEO SHIPS AM providing overall budget submission, Program Objective Memorandum (POM) tracking, as well as execution data/reports from financial databases for all GFE/CFE systems and ship platforms. Proficient in Microsoft Excel by use of pivot tables, linked spreadsheets/workbooks, equations, and other methods of data sorting, updaing and consolidation. Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team. Targeted salary range is 140,000/annually to 180,000/annually based on qualifications and experience. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds. Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time. Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location. #J-18808-Ljbffr
