Tax Accountant
Seeking a Tax Accountant to prepare tax returns, build long-term client relationships, and support clients in a collaborative, non-business-development-focused environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, including: Form 1040, S Corporation returns, LLC and partnership returns, Limited trust returns
- Communicate with clients regarding tax planning and return preparation
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while providing outstanding service
- Collaborate with the firm's bookkeeping and wealth management teams to ensure a seamless client experience
- Identify opportunities for clients to benefit from additional financial services and make internal referrals when appropriate.
Qualifications:
- CPA license strongly preferred; candidates close to completing their CPA will also be considered
- Experience preparing individual and business tax returns
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop required
- Experience with Lacerte required
- Experience with Canopy tax software is a plus
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities during busy tax seasons
- High level of professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail.
