Lab Technician

Job Title : Lab Technician

Location : Irvine, CA

Work Model : Onsite

Hours : M-F 8am-5pm

Compensation : $28.00 - $32.00/hr

Type : 12-month contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent



Responsibilities

• Testing of adhesives not limited to paste or film
• Evaluate, collect and record data
• Participates in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures while summarizing and reporting results
• Uses a computer to enter data/information including charts and tables for communication of project results/details.

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field, preferably chemical, mechanical, materials engineering
• 5+ years of process experience
• Ability to routinely generate data based on standard test methods
• Ability to support application engineer for data generation
• Experience in lab hands on work and good at 5S
• Basic data summary and MS Office skills
• Good team player
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office products Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for preservation of data
• Ability to follow safe laboratory practices/protocols
• Ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day
