Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical - Telemetry to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, demonstrate critical thinking skills, and work effectively within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients of all ages in a medical/surgical unit.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide necessary interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in the electronic health record.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in Virginia.
• 1-2 years of experience in a medical/surgical or telemetry setting preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Handle with Care and NIH certifications preferred.
