Seasonal HR Coordinator - SAP Center @ San Jose-Conc.

Job Description

The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the HR Department across five locations?including SAP Center, Tech CU Arena, and three regional Ice Centers?supporting a workforce of union and non-union employees. This role maintains accurate employee records, assists in recruitment and onboarding, supports compliance and safety documentation, and ensures smooth day-to-day HR operations.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $25.00 to $28.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensures adequate staffing coverage for events by partnering with operating managers to create schedules. Processes callouts and re-assigns or moves staff as business needs require.

• Conduct employee check-ins on event days by ensuring uniform compliance, staffing completion, and assisting employees to work locations when necessary.

• Provides support using various methods of communication for front-line HR inquiries e.g., scheduling, pay discrepancies and general payroll, and systems access.

• Tracks employee attendance, prepares attendance reports, and communicates with managers regarding patterns and compliance.

• Conducts uniform compliance checks and partners with managers to address violations.

• Monitors and supports frontline operations during events to ensure staff placement aligns with business needs and service standards.

• Assists in facilitating the recruitment and onboarding processes for new hires.

• Coordinates and facilitates various trainings e.g., Return to Work and New Hire Orientations. CA Sexual Harassment, Food Safety Trainings and client specific training.

• Ensures I-9 compliance by collecting, verifying, and maintaining documentation for all employees.

• Maintain HR files, including active and terminated employees' personnel records, certifications, I-9 documents, and performance documentation.

• Partner with HR management and operations to build and maintain employee engagement and safety culture platforms.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• One to two years of HR or administrative experience preferred.

• Spanish bilingual preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
