The Role
- Lead daily hospital operations, cultivating a culture of trust, accountability, and teamwork
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop support staff; conduct coaching and performance reviews
- Build efficient schedules for administrative and technical teams; oversee timekeeping and attendance
- Drive revenue growth and manage expenses; partner with the medical team on service quality and client experience
- Manage budgets, purchasing, and facility maintenance to ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient environment
- Oversee billing accuracy, daily financial reconciliation, and accounts payable; maintain vendor relationships and required documentation
- Maintain inventory controls, ordering, and cost containment
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and applicable regulations; document incidents and follow through on corrective measures
- Resolve escalated client concerns with empathy and sound judgment
- Track and report on key performance indicators to inform decisions and continuous improvement

Requirements
- License to practice in North Carolina (as applicable to the role) or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare management, or related field preferred
- At least 5 years of office or practice management experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role; veterinary or medical practice experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and practice-management or scheduling systems
- Strong leadership, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills; comfort with budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning
- Flexible availability, including some weekends and holidays
- Comfortable working around animals and clinical materials; able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
