Veterinary Technician Assistant - Cardiology and Surgery

Role Overview the Veterinary Assistant supports surgical and cardiology teams by assisting with procedures, preparing equipment, monitoring patients, and ensuring a clean and organized environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with surgeries and diagnostic procedures, including setting up equipment, maintaining sterility, and performing digital radiographs. Support cardiology tasks such as patient restraint, monitoring, and diagnostic assistance. Help with patient admissions, discharges, and client communication to ensure clear instructions and confidence. Provide patient care, handle husbandry duties, and maintain hospital cleanliness and supplies. Uphold safety protocols and hospital standards for sanitation and organization. Qualifications & Skills Experience in veterinary or animal care, with familiarity in restraint, patient prep, and instrument handling. Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and a willingness to learn.
