Come Join the Winning Team!Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is currently hiring a full-time Swing Delivery Driver to work out of our warehouses in North Reading, MA. This position assists with fulfilling & processing orders, shipping/receiving, inventory, providing support as an alternate delivery driver, and other duties as assigned.Essential Duties:Managing paperwork from customers and vendorsDaily deliveries to job sites and supply houses.Loading and unloading trucksPulling orders and prepping for shipmentReceive inventory and store products in designated areasKeep work area clean and orderlyMaintain a healthy and safe working environmentOperating our delivery trucks safelyPerform other related duties as assignedIdeal Candidate:Experience in a similar work environment preferredCurrent DOT Medical Card or a CDL are preferredExperience driving a 22' stake body truck in Boston and surrounding areasClean, driving recordHave basic math skillsAbility to operate various types of materials handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, and standard forklifts, when needed.Willingness to learn the warehouse productsSelf-motivatedPunctual and courteousTeam player mentality a must; communication, collaboration, and motivation to follow through critical.Be able to work quickly and efficiently without constant supervision.Requirements:Maintain a valid DOT Medical Card.Must be able to join Local 25 Union.Days/Shift:Monday thru Friday 7:00am – 3:30pmBenefit Highlights:Weekly pay8 paid holidays plus 2 floating holidaysPaid Time OffLow affordable rates for Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance as well other benefits such as 401k with company matching (4%), Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance after 60 daysGrowth OpportunitiesWe specialize in the manufacture and distribution of a complete line of pipe hangers and supports for commercial and industrial applications since 1913.
